Modular Manipulations: Canopy

          The project statement was to create a modular unit that could be repeated to create something larger. First, everyone in the class was told to fold 500 different shapes and pick our 3 favorite to present to the class to vote on. After the voting, 2 modular folded pieces of paper were chosen and the class was split into 2 groups to create something by repeating the shape. One group was to create a canopy (shown above) and the other was to create a curtain. Both pieces were used in an anthropometric fashion show from our previous project.
